<Text>These Regulations amend the National Health Service (Dental Charges) (Wales) Regulations 2006 (<Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/wsi/2006/491" id="c00001" Class="WelshStatutoryInstrument" Year="2006" Number="0491" AlternativeNumber="W.60">S.I. 2006/491 (W.60)</Citation>) (“the <Abbreviation Expansion="National Health Service (Dental Charges) (Wales) Regulations 2006 (S.I. 2006/491 (W.60))">2006 Regulations</Abbreviation>”).</Text>

<Text>Regulation 2 amends regulation 4 of the 2006 Regulations (calculation of charges) by increasing the applicable charge payable for a Band 1 and a Band 2 course of treatment. The charge payable for a Band 3 course of treatment remains unchanged at £177.00.</Text>
</P>
<P>
<Text>The Welsh Ministers' Code of Practice on the carrying out of Regulatory Impact Assessments was considered in relation to these Regulations. As a result, it was not considered necessary to carry out a regulatory impact assessment as to the likely costs and benefits of complying with these Regulations.</Text>
