Deposits in the course of normal navigation or maintenance21.

(1)

Article 4 applies to the deposit from a vehicle, vessel, aircraft or marine structure in the course of its normal navigation or maintenance.

(2)

But article 4 does not apply to any such deposit–

(a)

made for the purpose of disposal;

(b)

to the extent that it falls within item 10.
