Deposits in the course of normal navigation or maintenanceE+W
21.—(1) Article 4 applies to the deposit from a vehicle, vessel, aircraft or marine structure in the course of its normal navigation or maintenance [F1, or any related removal activity].
(2) But article 4 does not apply to any such deposit–
(a)made for the purpose of disposal;
(b)to the extent that it falls within item 10.
