This Order brings into force on 31 January 2010 the following provisions of the Local Transport Act 2008 (“the Act”)5.

Part 3

Sections 13 to 18 (with the exception of Section 13(1) and 13(2) which came into force on 1 April 2009) which amend powers in the Transport Act 20006 for local transport authorities to make quality partnership schemes.

Part 4

Section 68(2) which extends the powers of the Welsh Ministers to subsidise the provision of certain passenger transport services.

Part 8

Section 131 in so far as it relates to repeals in Schedule 7 and accordingly those repeals.
