Title, commencement and application1.

The title of these Regulations is the Private and Voluntary Health Care (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and they come into force on 7 September 2007.

Interpretation2.
In these regulations—

In regulation 3(3)(h) of the Principal Regulations omit the words “or another person”.
(2)
In regulation 4(1)(b) of the Principal Regulations omit the words “or another person”.
(3)
In regulation 4A of the Principal Regulations omit the words “or another person”.
These regulations are made under the Care Standards Act 2000 and amend the Private and Voluntary Health Care (Wales) Regulations 2002. They amend the exceptions to registration as an independent hospital, independent clinic and independent medical agency by removing the words “or another person” in regulations 3(3)(h), 4(1)(b) and 4A.
