(Nid yw'r nodyn hwn yn rhan o'r Gorchymyn)
Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn diwygio Gorchymyn Clefydau Anifeiliaid (Diheintyddion a Gymeradwywyd) 1978 (“Gorchymyn 1978”), O.S. 1978/32 ac yn dirymu Gorchmynion diwygio blaenorol. Mae'n disodli Atodlenni 1 a 2 i Orchymyn 1978 gan roi yn eu lle'r Atodlenni a nodir yn y Gorchymyn hwn. Mae Atodlen 1 yn rhestru diheintyddion a gymeradwywyd gan Gynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru ac mae Atodlen 2 yn rhestru diheintyddion, er nad ydynt bellach yn gymeradwy, gellir parhau i'w defnyddio fel diheintyddion a gymeradwywyd tan 30 Mehefin 2005.
Hysbyswyd y Comisiwn Ewropeaidd am y Gorchymyn hwn mewn ffurf ddrafft yn unol â Chyfarwyddeb 98/34/EC, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Gyfarwyddeb 98/48/EC.
Mae Arfarniad Rheoliadol wedi ei baratoi. Gellir cael copïau oddi wrth yr Is-adran Iechyd Anifeiliaid a Phlanhigion Llywodraeth Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru, Parc Cathays, Caerdydd CF10 3NQ.
