Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2004 E+W

79.—(1) The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2004(1) are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 2(1) (interpretation), after the definition of “fire authority” insert—

““fire and rescue authority” means the fire and rescue authority under the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004;”;

(3) In regulation 6 (application to armed forces)—

(a) in paragraph (2)(a)(ii)(bb)—

(i) omit the words “the chief fire officer (as respects England and Wales) or”;

(ii) for the word “or” at the end, substitute “and”; and

(b) after paragraph (2)(a)(ii)(bb) insert—

“(cc) the fire and rescue authority (as respects England or Wales) for each area in which the place selected for training is situated; or”.
