The Combined Fire Authorities (Protection from Personal Liability) (Wales) Order 199743 is amended as follows.

For regulation 2 (interpretation), substitute—

“Interpretation2.

In this Order “combination scheme” means a scheme under section 2 of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 or a scheme to which section 4 of that Act applies.”.

In article 3 (protection from personal liability)—

(a)

for article 3(1), substitute—

“(1)

This article applies to a fire and rescue authority constituted by a combination scheme”; and

(b)

in article 3(2), for the words “fire authority” substitute “fire and rescue authority”.
