Regulations:</p></formula></preamble><body><hcontainer name="regulation" eId="regulation-1"><heading>Citation, commencement, interpretation and application</heading><num>1.</num><paragraph eId="regulation-1-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>These Regulations may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2004 and come into force on 8 November 2004.</p></content></paragraph><paragraph eId="regulation-1-2"><num>(2)</num><content><p>In these Regulations, “the 1989 Regulations” means the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) Regulations 1989<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00003" marker="3"><p><ref eId="c00005" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1989/193">S.I. 1989/193</ref>, amended by <ref eId="c00006" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1990/2743">S.I. 1990/2743</ref>, <ref eId="c00007" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1991/2735">1991/2735</ref>, <ref eId="c00008" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1992/1817">1992/1817</ref>, <ref eId="c00009" eId="regulation-1-3"><num>(3)</num><content><p>These Regulations apply to Wales.</p></content></paragraph></hcontainer><hcontainer name="regulation" eId="regulation-2"><heading>General increase in fees</heading><num>2.</num><paragraph eId="regulation-2-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>The 1989 Regulations are amended in accordance with the provisions of this regulation.</p></content></paragraph><paragraph eId="regulation-2-2"><num>(2)</num><intro><p>In regulation 10A of the 1989 Regulations—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="regulation-2-2-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>in paragraph (5)(b), for “£110” substitute “£120”; and</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="regulation-2-2-b"><num>(b)</num><content><p>in paragraph (6), for “£220” substitute “£240” and for “£11,000” substitute “£12,100”.</p></content></level></paragraph><paragraph eId="regulation-2-3"><num>(3)</num><intro><p>In regulation 11A of the 1989 Regulations—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="regulation-2-3-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>in paragraph (1)(a), for “£40” substitute “£45”; and</p></content></level><level class="para1" Replacement scales of fees for those payable under Part II of Schedule 1, and Schedule 2, to the 1989 Regulations are set out in the Schedules to these Regulations.</p></blockContainer><blockContainer ukl:Name="P"><p>Except for the revocation of paragraph 11 of Part I of Schedule 1 to the 1989 Regulations (which relates to a spent provision of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990), only the amount of the fees is changed and there is no change to the categories of development or the basis of calculation.</p></blockContainer><blockContainer ukl:Name="P"><p>These Regulations revoke the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) (Amendment No.2) (Wales) Regulations 2002 (<ref eId="c00001" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/wsi/2002/2258">S.I. 2002/2258) (W.222)</ref>.</p></blockContainer></blockContainer></conclusions></act></akomaNtoso>
