interpretation</heading><num>1.</num><paragraph eId="regulation-1-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>These Regulations may be cited as the Commons Registration (General) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2003 and come into force on 1st May 2003.</p></content></paragraph><paragraph eId="regulation-1-2"><num>(2)</num><content><p>These Regulations apply to Wales.</p></content></paragraph><paragraph eId="regulation-1-3"><num>(3)</num><intro><p>In these Regulations—</p></intro><hcontainer name="definition"><content><p>“the Form” (“<i>y Ffurflen</i>”) means Form 21 substituted in Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations;</p></content></hcontainer><hcontainer name="definition"><content><p>“the Principal Regulations” (“<i>y Prif Reoliadau</i>”) means the Commons Registration (General) Regulations 1966<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00003" marker="3"><p><abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00007" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1966/1471">1966/1471</ref>; relevant amending instruments are <abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00008" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1970/1996">1970/1996</ref>, <ref eId="c00009" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1980/1195">1980/1195</ref> and <ref eId="c00010" eId="regulation-2"><heading>Substitution of new fee</heading><num>2.</num><intro><p>In Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="regulation-2-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>in the first column, for the words “ten pounds” there is substituted the words “twenty pounds”; and</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="regulation-2-b"><num>(b)</num><content><p>in the second column, for the amounts “£6.00” and “50p” there is substituted the amounts “£14.00” and “£1.00” respectively.</p></content></level></hcontainer><hcontainer name="regulation" eId="regulation-3"><heading>Amendment of the Form</heading><num>3.</num><content><p>In the part of the Form headed “FEES”, for the amounts “£6.00”, “50p” and “£10.00”, there are substituted the amounts “£14.00”, “£1.00” and “£20.00” respectively.</p></content></hcontainer><hcontainer name="signatures"><hcontainer
