Coming into force
The National Assembly for Wales makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers given to the Secretary of State by sections 173(1), (2) and (4), 175(1A), 177(1)(c), 177(2), 178(1) and 270(1) of the Local Government Act 19721 which are now vested in the National Assembly for Wales so far as exercisable in Wales2 and the powers given to it by sections 100(1),(4),(5),(6) and (7) and 105(2) of the Local Government Act 20003(having consulted such representatives of local government and such other persons as it considers necessary).
