Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn gosod y Safonau Ysgol Annibynnol (“y safonau”) y bydd ysgol annibynnol yn cael eu harolygu yn unol â hwy o dan adrannau 160(4) a 163(2) o Ddeddf Addysg 2002 (“Deddf 2002”). Bydd y person sy'n gwneud yr arolygiad yn rhoi adroddiad o dan adran 163(3) o Ddeddf 2002 a fydd yn asesu i ba raddau y bodlonir y safonau.
Bydd yr awdurdod cofrestru yn ystyried adroddiad yr arolygiad ac unrhyw dystiolaeth arall wrth benderfynu a ddylai'r ysgol fod yn gofrestredig, neu a ddylai barhau i fod yn gofrestredig o dan adran 161 o Ddeddf 2002.
