Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn dirymu a disodli Rheoliadau Addysg (Manylion Ysgolion Annibynnol) 1997 mewn perthynas â Chymru. Maent yn ymwneud â cheisiadau i gofrestru ysgolion annibynnol o dan adran 160(1) o Ddeddf Addysg 2002 ac â'r wybodaeth sydd i'w darparu'n achlysurol gan berchenogion ysgolion annibynnol o dan adran 168 o'r Ddeddf honno.
