Subject to paragraph (2) the Education (Lay Members of Appeal Committees) Regulations 19948 (to the extent that they have not already been revoked), the Education (Exclusions from School) (Prescribed Periods) Regulations 19999 and the Education (Exclusions from School) (Prescribed Periods) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 200010 are hereby revoked.

The regulations revoked by paragraph (1) are to continue to have effect in relation to any exclusion to which sections 64 to 68 of, and Schedule 18 to, the School Standards and Framework Act 199811 applies by virtue of regulation 7 of the Education Act 2002 (Transitional Provisions) (No.2) (Wales) Regulations 200312 (pupils excluded before 9th January 2004).
