In section 111 of the 1988 Finance Act39 (interpretation), after subsection (3), there shall be inserted—

“(3A)

In this Part, “council manager”, “elected mayor”, “executive”, “executive arrangements”, “executive leader”, “leader and “cabinet executive”, “mayor and cabinet executive” and “mayor and council manager executive” have the same meaning as in Part II of the Local Government Act 2000.”.
