14.  In section 6 of the Local Government Act 1986(1) (interpretation and application of Part II), after subsection (6), there shall be added—

“(7) Nothing in this Part shall be construed as applying to anything done by a person in the discharge of any duties under regulations made under section 22 of the Local Government Act 2000 (access to information etc)”.(2)
