The Poultry Meat, Farmed Game Bird Meat and Rabbit Meat (Hygiene and Inspection) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 16(1)(b), (c), (d), (e) and (f), (3), 17(1), 19(1)(b), 26 and 48(1) of, and paragraphs 5(1)(a) and (2)(a) and 6(1)(a) of Schedule 1 to, the Food Safety Act 19901, which are now exercisable in relation to Wales by the National Assembly for Wales2 having had regard in accordance with section 48(4A) of that Act to relevant advice given by the Food Standards Agency and after consultation in accordance with section 48(4) of that Act;

And being designated3 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19724 in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community in exercise of the powers conferred by that section insofar as these Regulations amend the Products of Animal Origin (Import and Export) Regulations 19965;
