The National Assembly for Wales makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 356(2)(c) and (5) to (8) and section 568(5) and (6) of the Education Act 1996(1) and now vested in the Assembly(2).

1996 c. 56. Section 356 (5) and (8) were amended by paragraph 87 of Schedule 30 to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (c. 31). Section 568(5) was amended by paragraph 175 of that Schedule.
