Regulations:</p></formula></preamble><body><hcontainer name="regulation" eId="regulation-1"><heading>Citation, commencement, interpretation and application</heading><num>1.</num><paragraph eId="regulation-1-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>These Regulations may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2002 and come into force on 1st August 2002.</p></content></paragraph><paragraph eId="regulation-1-2"><num>(2)</num><content><p>In these Regulations, “the 1989 Regulations” (“<i>Rheoliadau 1989</i>”) means the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) Regulations 1989<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00003" marker="3"><p><abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00006" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1989/193">1989/193</ref>; relevant amending instruments are S.Is. <ref eId="c00007" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1991/2735">1991/2735</ref>, <ref eId="c00008" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1992/1817">1992/1817</ref>, <ref eId="c00009" Wales.</p></content></paragraph></hcontainer><hcontainer name="regulation" eId="regulation-2"><heading>Fees for certain applications under the General Permitted Development Order</heading><num>2.</num><paragraph eId="regulation-2-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p><mod>In regulation 11A of the 1989 Regulations<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00004" marker="4"><p>Regulation 11A was inserted by paragraph 3 of Schedule 3 to <abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00012" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1991/2735">1991/2735</ref> and substituted by regulation 4 of <abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00013" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1992/3052">1992/3052</ref>.</p></authorialNote> for paragraph (1) substitute—<quotedStructure startQuote="“" endQuote="”" uk:context="body" uk:docName="wsi" ukl:TargetClass="secondary" ukl:TargetSubClass="regulation" ukl:Context="main" ukl:Format="default"><paragraph><num>(1)</num><intro><p>Where an application is made to a local planning authority for their determination as to whether the prior approval of the authority will be required in relation to development under Schedule 2 to the General Permitted Development Order a fee shall be paid to the authority of the following amounts—</p></intro><level class="para1"><num>(a)</num><content><p>for an application under Parts 6, 7 or 31, £35; and</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(b)</num><content><p>for an application under Part 24, £190</p></content></level></paragraph></quotedStructure><inline
