Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations, which come into force at mid-day on 10th April 2002, amend the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (England and Wales) Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/1673, as amended) in relation to Wales to make provision to give effect to—
Article 1 of Commission Decision 2002/242/EC (OJ No. L82, 26.3.2002, p.18) amending for the ninth time Decision 2001/327/EC (OJ No. L115, 25.4.2001, p.12) concerning restrictions to the movement of animals of susceptible species with regard to foot-and-mouth disease.
A Regulatory Appraisal has not been prepared for these Regulations.
