Amendment of the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Order 19832.
(1)
The Foot-and-Mouth Disease Order 19832 in so far as it applies to Wales is amended in accordance with the provisions of this article.
(2)
After article 18(2) there shall be inserted the following—
“(2A)
In deciding whether to issue licences under paragraphs (1) or (2) above an inspector shall comply with any instructions which may have been issued by the Minister as to the issue of such licences.”.
(3)
In article 29D(2), after paragraph (3) of the paragraphs to be substituted in article 18 in its application to restricted infected areas, there shall be inserted the following—
“(3A)
In deciding whether to issue licences under paragraphs (1), (2) or (3) above an inspector shall comply with any instructions which may have been issued by the Minister as to the issue of such licences.”.
(4)
After article 31(2) there shall be inserted the following—
“(2A)
In deciding whether to issue licences under paragraph (1) above an inspector shall comply with any instructions which may have been issued by the Minister as to the issue of such licences.”.
