to improve energy efficiency.</p></content></article><article eId="article-4"><heading>Common parts grants</heading><num>4.</num><content><p>For the purposes of section 17 of <abbr title="Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 c. 53">the Act</abbr> (common parts grants: purposes for which grant may be given), an additional purpose specified is - to improve energy efficiency.</p></content></article><article eId="article-5"><heading><abbr class="acronym" title="House of Multiple Occupation">HMO</abbr> (Houses in multiple occupation) grants</heading><num>5.</num><content><p>For the purposes of section 27 of <abbr title="Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 c. 53">the Act</abbr> (<abbr class="acronym" title="House of Multiple Occupation">HMO</abbr> grants: purposes for which grant may be given), an additional purpose specified is -
