Nodau gwerthuso

4.—(1) Bydd y cyrff gwerthuso'n sicrhau bod gwerthuso yn helpu —

(a)athrawon ysgol yn eu datblygiad proffesiynnol a'u cynlluniau gyrfa; a

(b)y rhai sy'n gyfrifol am gymryd penderfyniadau ynghylch rheolaeth athrawon ysgol.

(2) Wrth gyflawni eu dyletswydd o dan Reoliad 3, bydd y cyrff gwerthuso'n anelu at wella ansawdd addysg ar gyfer disgyblion, drwy helpu athrawon ysgol i wireddu eu potensial ac i gyflawni eu dyletswyddau'n fwy effeithiol.

(3) Yn benodol, bydd gweithdrefnau gwerthuso'n anelu at —

(a)cydnabod cyrraeddiadau athrawon ysgol a'u helpu i nodi ffyrdd o wella'u medrau a'u perfformiad;

(b)helpu athrawon ysgol, cyrff llywodraethu ac awdurdodau addysg lleol (fel y bo'r achos) i benderfynu a fyddai newid yn eu dyletswyddau yn helpu datblygiad proffesiynol athrawon ysgol ac yn gwella'u rhagolygon gyrfa;

(c)nodi potensial athrawon ar gyfer datblygiad gyrfa, gan anelu at eu helpu, lle bo'n bosibl, drwy hyfforddiant mewn swydd priodol;

(d)helpu athrawon ysgol sy'n cael anawsterau gyda'u perfformiad, drwy ganllawiau, cwnsela a hyfforddi priodol;

(e)darparu gwybodaeth ar gyfer y rhai sy'n gyfrifol am gynnig tystlythyrau ar gyfer athrawon ysgol mewn perthynas â phenodiadau;

(f)gwella rheolaeth ysgolion.

(4) Ni fydd gweithdrefnau gwerthuso'n ffurfio rhan o unrhyw weithdrefnau disgyblu neu ddiswyddo, ond fe all datganiadau gwerthuso gael eu defnyddio at y dibenion a bennir yn Rheoliad 14.
