Y Taliad Cymhelliant Cyntaf
4.—(1) Bydd taliad cyntaf (a all fod yn daladwy drwy randaliadau) fod yn daladwy i berson mewn perthynas â chwrs ôl-raddedig o hyfforddiant cychwynnol i athrawon addysgu mathemateg neu wyddoniaeth i ddisgyblion sy'n cael addysg uwchradd, a ddarperir mewn sefydliad achrededig yng Nghymru, ac sy'n peri bod y person yn dod yn athro cymwysedig.
(2) Gall y Cynulliad wneud taliad o dan baragraff (1) drwy ddarparu cyllid i sefydliad achrededig i'w talu i berson ar yr adegau hynny a gyfarwyddir gan y Cynulliad.
(3) Ni wneir unrhyw daliad o dan baragraff (1) i berson sydd wedi cwblhau cwrs hyfforddiant cychwynnol athrawon.
(4) Bydd taliadau o dan baragraff (1) yn daladwy ynglyŷn â'r cyfnod y mae ei angen fel arfer i gwblhau'r cwrs y maent wedi'u rhoi ar ei gyfer.
(5) Os na fydd person yn cwblhau'r cwrs am resymau afiechyd neu oherwydd gohiriad o fewn y cyfnod y mae ei angen fel arfer, gall Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru estyn y cyfnod y gellir gwneud y taliadau ar ei gyfer o dan baragraff (1).
