The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 2004(1).
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2004 (Code of Practice) (Authorisation and Supervision of Collective Defined Contribution Schemes) Appointed Day and Revocation Order 2026.
(2) This Order extends to England and Wales and Scotland.
2. The day appointed for the coming into effect of the Pensions Regulator’s Code of Practice: Authorisation and supervision of collective defined contribution (CDC) schemes is 31st July 2026.
3. The Pensions Act 2004 (Code of Practice) (Authorisation and Supervision of Collective Defined Contribution Schemes) Appointed Day Order 2022(2) is revoked with effect from 31st July 2026.

This Order appoints 31st July 2026 as the day on which the Pensions Regulator’s Code of Practice: Authorisation and supervision of collective defined contribution (CDC) schemes (“the Code”) comes into effect.
A copy of the Code can be obtained by post from the Pensions Regulator, Telecom House, 125-135 Preston Road, Brighton, BN1 6AF.
This Order also revokes the Pensions Act 2004 (Code of Practice) (Authorisation and Supervision of Collective Defined Contribution Schemes) Appointed Day Order 2022 (S.I. 2022/855). This brought into effect the preceding code, the Pensions Regulator’s Code of Practice: Authorisation and supervision of collective defined contribution schemes, which is revoked with effect from 31st July 2026 by the Pensions Act 2004 (Codes of Practice) (Revocation) Order 2026 (S.I. 2026/709).
