(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Social Fund Winter Fuel Payment Regulations 2024 (S.I. 2024/869) (“the 2024 Regulations”) to correct minor errors in regulation 7(1) of, and Schedule 2 to, those Regulations (revocations).
Regulation 7(1) of the 2024 Regulations makes provision for the revocation of various statutory instruments as set out in Schedule 2 to the Regulations. This is amended to make it clear that provisions of both Regulations and Orders are being revoked. The heading to Schedule 2 to the 2024 Regulations and the heading to the first column of the table in that Schedule are similarly amended.
The entry in Schedule 2 to the 2024 Regulations relating to the Civil Partnership (Pensions, Social Security and Child Support) (Consequential, etc. Provisions) Order 2005 (S.I. 2005/2877) is amended so that paragraph 32 of Schedule 3 to that instrument is revoked rather than paragraph 34 of Schedule 3 to that instrument.
The entry in Schedule 2 to the 2024 Regulations relating to the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Miscellaneous Consequential Amendments) Order 2010 (S.I. 2010/1881) is amended to refer to Article 10 of that instrument rather than to refer incorrectly to Regulation 10.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, public or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
