The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(1) and (3)(a) and 51(1)(a) of the National Minimum Wage Act 1998(1), makes the following Regulations.
A draft of these Regulations was laid before Parliament in accordance with section 51(5) of the National Minimum Wage Act 1998 and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
1998 c. 39; the term “regulations” is defined, for the purposes of sections 2(1) and (3)(a) and 51(1) of the National Minimum Wage Act 1998, in section 55(1) of that act.
