Modification of the 1995 Act and these Regulations for international operators33A

This regulation applies in relation to vehicles that are—

a

brought temporarily into Great Britain by an international operator,

b

not subject to a relevant international agreement,

c

engaged in carrying goods by road on a journey some part of which has taken place, or will take place, outside the United Kingdom, and

d

not used at any time during that journey for the carriage of goods loaded at one place in the United Kingdom and delivered at another place in the United Kingdom.

The 1995 Act and these Regulations have effect subject to the modifications set out in Schedule 3A.

In this regulation “relevant international agreement” has the meaning given in section 1(4) of the Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Act 20184
