EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Instrument confirms a scheme “The M180 South Humberside Motorway (Beltoft-Scunthorpe Section) and Connecting Roads (Variation) Scheme 2022” to vary part of “The M180 South Humberside Motorway (Beltoft-Scunthorpe Section) and Connecting Roads Scheme 1975” (as confirmed by “The M180 South Humberside Motorway (Beltoft-Scunthorpe Section) and Connecting Roads Scheme 1975” (S.I. 1975/217).

The Secretary of State has modified the M180 South Humberside Motorway (Beltoft-Scunthorpe Section) and Connecting Roads (Variation) Scheme 2022 as follows—

1.  In paragraph 2(3) for “The M180 South Humberside Motorway (Beltoft-Scunthorpe Section) and Connecting Roads (Variation) Scheme 2021” substitute “The M180 South Humberside Motorway (Beltoft-Scunthorpe Section) and Connecting Roads (Variation) Scheme 2022”.

2.  In paragraph 4 for “The M180 South Humberside Motorway (Beltoft-Scunthorpe Section) and Connecting Roads (Variation) Scheme 2021” substitute “The M180 South Humberside Motorway (Beltoft-Scunthorpe Section) and Connecting Roads Scheme 1975 Further Plan”.

3.  In paragraph 2(5) for “after “in an easterly then northerly direction” insert “to”, substitute “, for “a proposed roundabout on the Sheffield-Grimsby Trunk Road (A18) 1000 metres (1,094 yards) west of its junction with Scotter Road (marked D on the deposited plan)”.
