Alteration of district ward boundaries

2.—(1) The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Baunton and becomes part of the parish of Cirencester by virtue of the District of Cotswold (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2022(1) (“the Council’s Order”) ceases to be part of the Chedworth & Churn Valley district ward and becomes part of the Stratton district ward.

(2) The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Withington and becomes part of the parish of Coberley by virtue of the Council’s Order ceases to be part of the Sandywell district ward and becomes part of the Ermin district ward.

That Order was made on 31st August 2022 under powers including section 86 of the 2007 Act; such Orders are not required to be made by statutory instrument. That Order was subsequently amended by the District of Cotswold (Reorganisation of Community Governance) (Amendment) Order 2023 which was made on 20th February 2023. A hard copy of each Order is available for inspection at reasonable times at the offices of Cotswold District Council, Trinity Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire GL7 1PX.
