37.—(1) The Private International Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1995(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In the following provisions for “retained direct EU” substitute “assimilated direct”—
(a)section 15A(2)(2);
(b)section 15B(2)(3).
Section 15A was inserted by regulation 2 of S.I. 2008/2986 and section 15A(2) was substituted by regulation 4 of S.I. 2019/834.
Section 15B was inserted by regulation 2(a) of S.S.I. 2008/404 and section 15B(2) was substituted by regulation 4 of S.I. 2019/834. Regulation 4 of S.I. 2019/834 was itself substituted by regulation 6(5) of S.I. 2020/1574 before it came into force.
