The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 143(1) of, and paragraphs 1 and 2(2)(gf) and (h) of Schedule 9 to, the Local Government Finance Act 1988(1).
1988 c. 41. Paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 was amended by Schedule 13 to the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (c. 15). Paragraph 2(2)(gf) was inserted by section 8(2) of the Local Government Finance Act 2012 (c. 17). Paragraph 2(2)(h) was amended by paragraph 44(3) of Schedule 5 to the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (c. 42) and by section 8(3) of the Local Government Finance Act 2012.
