Coming into force
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) and (4) of the National Security Act 20231.
The Secretary of State, having regard to the matters listed in section 8(3) of that Act, reasonably considers it necessary to designate the land, buildings and vehicles specified in these Regulations as prohibited places in order to protect the safety or interests of the United Kingdom.
