Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers in sections 60(2)(h) and (3) and 315(2) and (5) of the Pensions Act 2004(1) (“the 2004 Act”) and section 54(5) and (6) of, and paragraphs 2(1), (2), (3) and (5) and 3 of Schedule 18 to, the Pensions Act 2014(2) (“the 2014 Act”).
In accordance with section 317(1) of the 2004 Act and paragraph 8 of Schedule 18 to the 2014 Act, the Secretary of State has consulted such persons as the Secretary of State considers appropriate.
In accordance with section 54(2)(e) of the 2014 Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
