The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14(4), 16(3) and 18(4) of the National Security and Investment Act 20211.
Citation, commencement and extent1

These Regulations may be cited as the National Security and Investment Act 2021 (Prescribed Form and Content of Notices and Validation Applications) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into force on 20th April 2022.

These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Amendment of the National Security and Investment Act 2021 (Prescribed Form and Content of Notices and Validation Applications) Regulations 20212
The National Security and Investment Act 2021 (Prescribed Form and Content of Notices and Validation Applications) Regulations 20212 are amended as follows—
a
in Schedule 1 in paragraph 21(d) after “national infrastructure” insert “sector”
;
b
in Schedule 2 in paragraph 25(d) after “national infrastructure” insert “sector”
;
c
in Schedule 3 in paragraph 29(d) for “critical national infrastructure” substitute “national infrastructure sector”
