Coming into force
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(2) of the Armed Forces (Pensions and Compensation) Act 20041.
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) (Amendment) Order 2022 and comes into force on 11th April 2022.
Amendment of the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) Order 20112
The Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) Order 20112 is amended in accordance with articles 3 to 5.
Amendment of article 24A3
In article 24A (award of armed forces independence payment)3, in paragraph (3), for “£152.15” substitute “£156.90”

Amendment of article 24D4
In article 24D (payment of armed forces independence payment in respect of Motability)4, in paragraph (2), for “£62.55” substitute “£64.50”

Amendment of Schedule 35

Schedule 3 (the tariff and supplementary awards), Part 1 (descriptors, tariff levels and amounts – “the tariff”) is amended as follows.
