Coming into force

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 85(1), (3)(a), (c), (d), (j) and (l), (5), (6) and (7), 86(1)(a), (b) and (d) and 302(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 19951, having consulted the persons referred to in section 86(4) of that Act and with the consent of the Treasury, makes the following Regulations.

In accordance with paragraph 13(1) of Schedule 8 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 20182, a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
