THE SCHEDULETHE SUNDERLAND CITY COUNCIL (RIVERSIDE SUNDERLAND – NEW RIVER WEAR HIGH LEVEL FOOTBRIDGE) SCHEME 2020
The Sunderland City Council (“the Council”) make this Scheme in exercise of their powers under section 106(3) of the Highways Act 1980 and all other powers enabling them in that behalf.
1. The Council are authorised to construct over the navigable waters of the River Wear the Footbridge specified in the Schedule to this Scheme required as part of the development of the Riverside and which is required to connect for pedestrian and cycleway purposes only the Vaux Site and the Sheepfolds area situate in the city centre of Sunderland.
2. This Scheme may be cited as The Sunderland City Council (Riverside Sunderland – New River Wear High Level Footbridge) Scheme 2020.
