The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 141A(2), 286(1) and 428(3) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 20001 and Article 50 of, and paragraphs 1(7), 1(9) and 1(10) of Part 1 of Schedule 3 to, Regulation (EU) No 600/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on Markets in Financial Instruments2, make the following Regulations:
