This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8, 57 to 59 and 61 of the Civil Aviation Act 19491, as extended to certain territories by the Civil Aviation Act 1949 (Overseas Territories) Order 19692, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 60, 101 and 102 of, and Schedule 13 to, the Civil Aviation Act 19823, as extended to Anguilla and to Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno Islands by the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (Overseas Territories) Order 20214.
