The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 12A and 12E(2)(c) of the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960(1).

In accordance with section 12E(4) of that Act, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Mobile Homes (Requirement for Manager of Site to be Fit and Proper Person) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2021.

(2) These Regulations come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.

Amendment of the Mobile Homes (Requirement for Manager of Site to be Fit and Proper Person) (England) Regulations 2020

2.  In regulation 3(5)(a) of the Mobile Homes (Requirement for Manager of Site to be Fit and Proper Person) (England) Regulations 2020(2), for “Local Government Finance Act 1992(3)” substitute “Local Government Finance Act 1988(4)”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend regulation 3(5)(a) of the Mobile Homes (Requirement for Manager of Site to be Fit and Proper Person) (England) Regulations 2020 in order to correct an error in a statutory reference.

A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no significant impact on the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen.
