8.  In regulation 2 of the Companies (Bodies Concerned with Auditing Standards etc) (Exemption from Liability) Regulations 2016(1)—

(a) in paragraph (1)—

(i) omit sub-paragraph (b) and the “and” preceding it;

(ii) in the closing words, for “paragraphs (2) and (3)” substitute “paragraph (2)”;

(b) in paragraph (2), for “subsection 2(a) to (d), (ea), (eb), (ec) and (f) to (t) of section 16” substitute “subsection 2(a) to (t) of section 16”;

(c) omit paragraph (3).
