2. In section 5(1)(d) of the 1949 Act (certificates method of authorising marriages according to the rites of the Church of England)(1), for “certificates issued by a superintendent registrar” substitute “a marriage schedule”.
Section 5 was amended by paragraph 3 of Schedule 1 to the Marriage (Prohibited Degrees of Relationship) Act 1986, paragraph 5 to Schedule 14 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, section 57(2) of the Immigration Act 2014 and S.I. 2000/2698.
