The Health and Safety and Nuclear (Fees) Regulations 2021

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 43(2), (4), (5) and (6) and 82(3)(a) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 19741 (“the 1974 Act”), sections 101(1), (2) and (3) and 113(6) and (7) of the Energy Act 20132 (“the 2013 Act”), and, in respect of regulations 13, 21 and 22, paragraph 7 of Schedule 4 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 20183.

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations for the purpose of giving effect without modifications to proposals submitted to the Secretary of State by the Health and Safety Executive under section 11(3) of the 1974 Act4 and the Office for Nuclear Regulation under section 81(1)(a)(iii) and (iv) of the 2013 Act5.
