SCHEDULE 5 E+W Modifications of police and crime commissioner enactments in their application to the Mayor

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 E+W

4.—(1) The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 M1 is modified as follows.

(2) In section 29(1) M2 , for “or transferred to the authority”, substitute “ to the Mayor, or transferred to the Combined Authority in relation to the Mayor's PCC functions ”.

(3) In section 30(3)(a) M3 , for “maintained by a local authority”, substitute “ maintained by the Mayor of the Combined Authority ”.

(4) In section 44(1), in paragraph (a) M4 of the definition of “local authority”, for “13 to 16, 29, 30, 38, 39 and 41” substitute “ 13, 14, 16, 29 and 38 ”.
