Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2) and (3)
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by regulations 22(1) and 24(2) of the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products Regulations 2010(1) (“the 2010 Regulations”) and Articles 11(3) and 11A(3) of Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council setting a framework for energy labelling(2) (“the Framework Regulation”).
A draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament in accordance with regulation 24(1)(b) of the 2010 Regulations and Article 11A(2)(b) of the Framework Regulation, and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
For the purposes of paragraph (1) of regulation 22 of the 2010 Regulations, the Secretary of State considers that the matters set out in paragraphs (2) and (6) of that regulation are satisfied. The Secretary of State has complied with paragraph (4) of regulation 22 of those Regulations.
For the purposes of paragraph (3) of Article 11 of the Framework Regulation, the Secretary of State considers that the conditions set out in paragraph (1)(a) to (d) of that Article are satisfied. The Secretary of State has complied with paragraph (2) of Article 11 of that Regulation.
