the absence of this regulation, contravene a relevant prohibition or relevant requirement, the relevant prohibition or relevant requirement is not contravened if the conduct is authorised by a licence, direction or other authorisation which is issued—</p></intro><level class="para1"><num>(a)</num><content><p>under the law of the relevant country, and</p></content></level><level name="definition"><content><p>“<term refersTo="#term-the-financial-services-provisions">the financial services provisions</term>” means regulations 18, 20 to 22, and 24 to 30, excluding regulation 26(7);</p></content></hcontainer><hcontainer name="definition"><intro><p>“<term refersTo="#term-relevant-country">relevant country</term>” means—</p></intro><level class="para1"><num>(a)</num><content><p>any of the Channel Islands,</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(b)</num><content><p>the Isle of Man, or</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(c)</num><content><p>any British overseas territory;</p></content></level></hcontainer><hcontainer name="definition"><intro><p>“<term refersTo="#term-relevant-prohibition">relevant prohibition</term>” means a prohibition in—</p></intro><level class="para1"><num>(a)</num><content><p>any of regulations 13 to 17 (asset-freeze etc.),</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(b)</num><content><p>the financial services provisions,</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(c)</num><content><p>Chapters 1, 2 and 3 of Part 6 (Trade),</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(d)</num><content><p>regulation 65(1) (movement of aircraft),</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(e)</num><content><p>regulation 69 (ownership etc. of DPRK ships),</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(f)</num><content><p>regulation 70 (dealing with UN-designated ships subject to asset-freeze),</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(g)</num><content><p>regulation 74 (DPRK ships: transfers of goods), or</p></content></level><level class="para1"><num>(h)</num><content><p>regulation 76 (registration etc. of ships in the DPRK);</p></content></level></hcontainer><hcontainer name="definition"><intro><p>“<term refersTo="#term-relevant-requirement">relevant requirement</term>” means a requirement in—</p></intro><level class="para1"><num>(a)</num><content><p>regulation 19 (severance of existing financial
