Amendments to the Universal Credit Regulations 20132

In regulation 82 (exceptions—earnings) of the Universal Credit Regulations 20133—

a

omit paragraph (2)(a)(i);

b

in paragraph (2)(a)(ii) omit the words “in any other case,”;

c

omit paragraph (3)(a);

d

in paragraph (3)(b) omit the words “in any other case,”; and

e

after paragraph (4) insert—

For the purposes of paragraphs (2)(a) and (3), when calculating the amount in accordance with paragraph (1)(a) the reference to regulation 4 of the National Minimum Wage Regulations is a reference to regulation 4 as in force at the beginning of the assessment period or month for which the amount is calculated.
