The General Chiropractic Council has made the General Chiropractic Council (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Rules Order 2020, which are set out in the Schedule to this Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 20(10) and 26 of, and paragraph 15(2)(h) of Schedule 1 to, the Chiropractors Act 1994(1).
By virtue of section 35(1) of that Act, such Rules must be approved by the Privy Council, and by virtue of section 36(1) of that Act such approval must be given by an order made by the Privy Council.
