Coming into force

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 58(1), 74, 97 and 104(1) and (3) of, and paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 3A to, the New Roads and Street Works Act 19911 and section 37(1), (6) to (8), (11) and (13) of the Traffic Management Act 20042.

Citation and commencement1

These Regulations may be cited as the Street and Road Works (Amendments Relating to Electronic Communications) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2020.

These Regulations come into force on 30th March 2020.

Amendments to the Street and Road Works (Amendments Relating to Electronic Communications) (England) Regulations 20202

The Street and Road Works (Amendments Relating to Electronic Communications) (England) Regulations 20203 are amended as follows.

These Regulations make amendments to the Street and Road Works (Amendments Relating to Electronic Communications) (England) Regulations 2020 (S.I. 2020/122). The amendments change the date on which those Regulations come into force, and make related amendments to the transitional provisions.
